Processes

We will use a conventional concentrator to treat copper and molybdenum sulphides from three open-pit deposits called Ferrobamba, Chalcobamba and Sulfobamba. The plant will have two production lines with a SAG mill and a ball mill for each line, with a total capacity of 140 kilotons per day.

We will transport ore from primary crushers (close to the mine) by means of two 5.2-kilometre long conveyor belts powered by gearless drives.

We will use three ISA Mills (M3000) in the regrinding circuit for material from the rougher and rougher-scavenger flotation processes.

We have selected three horizontal filters to obtain an average humidity of 9% in the copper concentrate.

We will transport the copper and molybdenum concentrates to the Port of Matarani by rail or truck.

We will supply fresh water from the Challhuahuacho River (800 l/s). We will use a freshwater reservoir (Chuspiri - 4.2MM m3) as backup during the dry season.
